What is a Copywriter and how does that benefit my company website?
A Copywriter is someone who writes copy for advertisements or other promotional material, writes compelling and creative text for a website (An example of this is someone who writes product descriptions for an e-commerce website), writes the words that promote a person, business, opinion, or idea. It may be used as plain text, as a radio or television advertisement, or in a variety of other media.

While most people think that they can write their own copy (website verbiage), think again. Remember, you're marketing your company's website to everyone out there on the world wide web. There was a recent study done that said that the average web surfer who lands on a website will read the first four lines of the copy before deciding whether or not to leave. The first FOUR lines - that takes up all of about 5 seconds to read. If your intro paragraph is not catchy enough to hold onto the visitors interest, you've lost them! It's the copywriters job to create interesting and grabbing copy to keep readers "attached to the company's hip". The hardest part of marketing your website is finding the right words to attract and retain visitors and clients. Don't waste time writing your own copy... hire a copywriter who can stick your company's website like crazy glue to the browsers of every visitor that lands on your website.
Our affiliates, "Say It With Words" & "My Marketing Message", can help to retain your visitors and client base. Author & former marketing instructor, Naomi Finkel, can transform your company by saying it with words.
We highly suggest calling upon either copywriter to help improve your website's appeal to visitors. We work in conjunction with each to properly implement and integrate your copy onto your company website. Read a short bio on Naomi at SIWW.
